The «Research'n Practical Medicine Journal (Исследования и практика в медицине)» was founded in 2014. 

The Editor-in-chief of the Journal is academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrey D. Kaprin, Deputy editor-in-chief – professor Andrey A. Kostin.

The Editorial Board and the Editorial Council of the Journal include recognized experts of various fields of medicine that allows to maintain a high scientific level of the publication due to the system of peer review.

Since its foundation, the journal has been providing information support to major medical forums in the field of oncology.

06.06.2017 the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications by the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

The journal is included in the Russian Science Citation Index on the platform Web of Science.
